At Heart of Art, we offer a different process to relax – Guided Meditation – It sustains your feeling of well being and inner calm, and opens up creative channels. Our process of harnessing creativity through an instructor led meditation, followed by a painting lesson, leads to a very unique experience, which possibly might change your life!
We will be creating Indian-Inspired paisleys, which will allow us to practice mindfulness while also nourishing our creative side. Let your intuition guide you, and see what themes, patterns, and shapes emerge!

One Life To Love: There are more than 100,000 children living in poverty on the streets of Delhi, India. Some are homeless, some victims of human trafficking, others orphaned or abandoned by their families. In addition to likely experiencing neglect, abuse, and trauma, a large percentage of Delhi’s street children also have physical and developmental challenges. While there are orphanages who aim to help street children, those with special needs are turned away due to being considered a “burden” to care for. One Life to Love (OLTL) offers the only home in Delhi for children with special needs. Through education and empowerment, OLTL brings hope to hundreds of “invisible” kids who otherwise would have nowhere to take refuge. OLTL’s mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where kids with special needs can live a healthy life like every child deserves.
In January 2020, graduate students and alumni of Monmouth University’s Professional Counseling program will be traveling to India to volunteer in OLTL’s Home of Hope. They are thrilled to have the opportunity to meet and work with these incredibly resilient kids! We would appreciate your support as we raise funds to further the mission of One Life To Love!
