As a licensed therapist and alumni of Monmouth University\’s Graduate program, I have an opportunity to travel to India in the summer of 2021. Other alumni and current students will be working with One Life 2 Love, a non-profit organization, which rescues children from abusive and neglectful situations, providing them their basic rights while creating opportunities for them to flourish and reach their full potential.
The more I grow as a professional counselor, committing myself to a life of service gives my life more meaning. I believe the more you give, the more you have.
In preparation for the trip, I\’m raising funds for the organization and plan on hosting events to spread One Life 2 Love\’s message, which will include selling baked goods, yoga, and a stand-up comedy show.
